After riding the track, you have proven to yourself that yes you can ride fast, yes you can drag a knee, and it is real obvious tyat the track is a pretty safe and comfortable place to do these things. The road is just a few specks of sand and a signpost to the head away from death so after having ridden the track , the road starts to feel very very uncomfortable.
