Yeah, that was the point I was trying to get across. His buddy should have nothing to do with him moving out. But he is clearly using his buddies experience as an excuse not to move.
Many people move out of their parents house when they are 18. I would venture to say that most of them survive. And many of them are probably better people for the experience. I certainly am. Man I was such a dick when I was 18.
