I'm using the ZX6 piston as well, it clears the crank just fine. Squish is big and can't mill the cylinder block because it will flake the chrome, I'll take what I need off the crank case. I have slotted cam gears to rectify the cam timing issue. Cam chain slack is minimal, not an issue.
