I believe you need to leave one of those lines vented (can't remember which one) or the bike will stall from fuel starvation when run at high speeds for a length of time. If that happens to you, in the meantime, pop the gas tank cover open and the bike will run for a while until it starves out of fuel again. PM Vex to see which line you need to vent.
