There is a big washer that needs to go down fist. Make sure it's down correct, BEFORE using the fork driver.

You don't need a l lot of force for the driver.

My friend didn't seat the washer right, and starting using tons of force with fork driver, still he could not put on the metal clip. He took the fork seal out, and saw the washer was not on right.
