Because you use big words only a couple people would know, i will admit that I didn't know what sanctimonious was, and i can assure you that i am in no way morally superior to her. Sure you have that word in the right context?
Was i patronizing to her, yep, sure was. Do i regret it? Not in the least.
Not once did i say anything out of line until she called me an asshole. I didn't make fun of her, didn't call her name's, just said that she needs to stop and take a step back and listen to what others are telling her.
If that's being an asshole, well, i guess to someone that can't handle criticism and critiquing, it could be construed as such.
