I am looking at new leather jackets and i have decided over these two, both in white, because they are sexy.

Astars 1.1mm perforated leather vs Scorpion 1.2-1.4mm non perf. How much stronger is the Scorpion? It looks like it will take more abuse. Astars would keep me cooler here in Florida.

Scorpion has superior sas-tec armor over the bionic armor, but doesnt really have any chest armor like the Astar. Both jackets can be upgraded to ce-2 back armor.

I can get the Scorpion for $160 plus $40 for the sas-tech ce-2 back armor, puts me at exactly $200. The Astar will cost me $225 plus $50 for ce-2 back armor and $40 for ce chest armor, putting me at $315.

I think either of these would be solid leathers, especially with the upgraded armor.
Anyone have experience or opinions on either of these two jackets?
