You're going to sweat buckets in both, especially in Florida. The only way you'll survive is if that sweat can evaporate.

Tip to keep cool: Use the "swamp cooler" method. Wear a light wicking base layer under the jacket. Before your ride, wet it down and leave it wet (i.e. don't wring all the water out). Zip up and go... the air flow will evaporate the water and keep you cool.

Same goes for your head. Get a skull cap or light balaclava and wet it before you put on your helmet.
