As amazing as this will sound, it is a mineral deficiency... common in preginant women...
freshly turned soil (dear God, I love that smell) smells... well it's very destinctive.
if you have that mineral deficiency... it is amost irresistable. Every worried first time mom called the Dr. and the Dr. said, let em eat as much as they want, won't hurt em.
