Finally finished. Working on my bike takes longer cuz I get distracted by additional small things while i already have the bike apart. Since i had the gas tank off already, I touched up the frame cuz there were a few spots where the paint was flaking and frame starting to rust. Since I had to wait for the paint to dry, i put on new grips, removed the rust from the bar ends, and painted the bar ends too.
So after a lot of frustrating trial and error with the headlights, they work! While snooping around, i discovered the source of my lack of high beam. Somehow along the way a wire coming from the controls was cut. 2+ year old problem finally solved lol. With the new bixenon projectors, I could only get one side to light up and couldn't for the life of me figure out what was wrong. Turns out the plugs to the ballasts can plug-in in both directions but won't work with reverse polarity.
Still have to dial in the aiming but damn they work so well.
