Update. As stated above - I have a junk lever. Why would someone here sell me these ? How can it work for one bike but not another ?
Looking at the ends of the levers, the OEM one has a longer "head" on it allowing full contact of the switch
The aftermarket one is shorter
Now both levers are not solid / tight. You can wiggle them up and down (probably so they don't bind up)
So the aftermarket one barely catches the switch at the tip of the "head". But as soon as the lever is wiggled it slips off leaving the brake light on
All I can do is keep the clutch lever - I thought about shimming the brake lever with a washer but it's too tight
Any ideas?
