Personally, I'd spend the something around $5,000 and get a KTM 390 Duke if I wanted a new play-around bike, or $7,000 for a Yamaha FZ-07 if I were going for a sport-touring sort of thing. I don't know how many of you guys have tried the KTM 390 Duke, but it's pretty amazing.
