Likely seen as a must-have. The tech is so cheap and easy to implement that there's no reason not to. I have the Healtech iQSE on my track bike. Installation wasn't quite as easy as boiling water, but not far from it. Works wonderfully well.
One thing I first learned when doing track days in cars many years ago is that ANYTHING that reduces your workload is a good thing to have. If you've never been on the track, the focus required can be surprisingly intense. It's actually difficult to find time to look at your gauges. That's why we have shift lights, and why many track riders tape over the speedo.
