Labor Day did my first ever motorcycle track day. Had a whole lot of fun and learned quite a bit.

Didn't have a set of dedicated track day wheels so I ran on Pirelli Sport Demons as I could continue to use them on the street afterwards. But, over the winter I'm planning on picking up a set of dedicated track wheels and wondering what tires would be one (1) step-up from the Sport Demons. Due to my beginner skill level I'm not looking for all-out race tires or anything which will require a lot of heat build-up. Just something to would let me get a little bit more out of the bike. Or maybe it's too early to switch to a different model. I've attached photos from the end of the day to show how much I used the tires.
