I've found a 46 mile route that runs just over an hour each way, has very few stops, takes me on the Express (HOT) lanes, and a nice winding country road for about half of it, and that is what I normally take when I ride the bike to work.
Although I had one morning that there was an accident in the express lanes that I didn't find out about until I was in the express lanes with no exit. That took over 2 hrs to get to work.

The 46 mile route is a hell of a-lot better for your engine.
