I like Sportsters as well, it's simple and gets the job done. I prefer a Sportster with lower handle bars or a 48.

If I had to choose out of all the bikes you posted, it would be the CBR650F and the 06XL883. HD bikes will probably cost more to maintain though. FZ6R would probably be my third pick. Engine life all depends on the person maintaining it, my neighbors Rebel 250 is in the 100k+ and still running . My Ninja 250 is about 22k+ it still feels like a new bike.
