We definitely didn't get a "deal" on it when it was all said-and-done, but it's running strong now and should be good for a while.
For the most part what we replaced was normal wear items for a race bike, and we have about what it's worth in it, but it is all fresh and should be bullet-proof now.
Just the way it idles (poorly due to the extreme cam timing most likely) and how fast the revs pick-up tells you this thing means business. My son (22) kept saying how he can't believe young kids ride/race these things.
My son is heading to the Supermoto track at Road America with a buddy from work this weekend that races a CRF to check out the SuMo scene.
On a side note, he also bought this over the weekend to replace his older KTM 200-
