Don’t run a dual sport/adv rear tire on the front. To run a rear tire on the front it’s best to run it reverse direction and that wouldn’t work with the tread design.

Also if the bike is an 07 with the 16s I would just find dual sport tires that size. Don’t switch everything to 17 (which are not as strong for off road use as the 16s) just to fit tires.

Look for Kenda k671 tires. You can fit 130/90 in the back and front on the pre-gen 250s. It slows the turn in, but otherwise rides very nice and the front has a pointier profile than a rear for better handling. You will need a new front fender, other wise everything JUST fits with a bit of room.
