yes an "O"ring chain Link-less..... original I think
I hit it with WD-40 and it loosened up immediately ( bad sign)
lubed it real good with 30 wt oil because that is all I had and figured it was better than nothing....
I think I will have to replace that chain shortly, I thought it looked like it was in great shape..... evidently looks are deceiving on chains !
