Make sure vacuum hoses fit snuggly and clamps actually apply pressure. Otherwise, you can use small zip-ties.

Ok perfect thank you! Will I have to take the carbs out and re clean them? I tried starting it with the vacuum from the petcock in the spot where the emmision spot goes
