Here's what I ended up with for the filter "hanger".
Piece of coated coat hanger and a screw.
I like drilling holes in stuff in case that wasn't apparent by now
Got me in more trouble than done me good most of the time though.
That filter sure looks spankin' coming right off the carbs like that. Think I'll leave it that way. Can always try the header tube later too, I suppose.
