Manual says to keep the RPM under 4000 for the first however many miles.
They don't tell you it's hard to do.
This bike wants to go. Holy carp. Let the clutch out in first? 3000rpm. I'm only at 45mph when I hit sixth gear.
Will be glad when the break-in period is over. OOoh, she sounds pretty, though. Her name has settled down and she is Poison Ivy. I tried to reconcile Tinkerbell, but no. Same with Sprite. Too cutesy for this bike.
