Jorge Martin won the FIM MotoGP World Championship Sprint Race Saturday afternoon at Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto, in Spain. Riding his Prima Pramac Racing Ducati Desmosedici GP24, the Spaniard won the 12-lap race by 2.970 seconds, extending his lead in the point standings.
Rookie sensation Pedro Acosta was the runner-up on his Red Bull Tech3 GASGAS, and Fabio Quartararo took an impressive third place on his Monster Energy Yamaha YZR-M1, just ahead of Red Bull KTM test rider Dani Pedrosa. Martin’s teammate Franco Morbidelli rounded out the top five finishers.
