Registration here is based on Age of vehicle. My Ducati ran $27 for reg plus $18 for Smog Check. (Yes we do have emissions for Motorcycles here)

Registration for the '09 Ninjette is $94.26 which includes the $25 surcharge for the custom plate per year. Since I don't need to Smog the Ninjette for another 3 years, I can renew for 2 years at a total of $169.40.
