Basically, I'm trying to get something that I can use to fill the speaker pockets in my helmets that will remain "squished" for long enough to insert my head but then expand and firmly push the earcups against my ears. As it is, my ears fold down when inserting my head and I have to use my glasses to correct it.
I already tried eBay and craft stores like Michaels and Jo-Anne Fabrics. The best option I can come up with seems to be to buy a bulk pack of earplugs and sew them together.  |

www.mcmaster.com and search for "memory foam." They sell 5 different firmnesses. I got the selector pack trying to decide which one to use for a custom seat.
