True, but in case you forgot, about 10+ years ago they put a cap on the top speed of production bikes thus ending the speed wars between Kawasaki and Suzuki right before Kawasaki's newest ninja at that time was going to take it back. A magazine review team actually took the Hayabusa and the Ninja, removed the restrictions on them and tested them side by side to see who would have won the title that year. In the end the Ninja proved to be faster that year after taking off the restrictions.
Now, does anyone know if they've removed that top speed cap on bikes or is it still in place?
