Oh I don't use them while riding. I wear foam earplugs when riding and use those earbuds when I listen to my mp3 player and stuff on the computer at work.

Not really sure there is a decent way to keep these on under your helmet due to the way they are shaped. The bottom end of them doesn't hug your ears so they'll get pulled out. I have recently tried another model of earbud from Phillips that have similar sound, go slightly deeper into the ear, and are shaped that they hug the outer ear more. They might prove to be better for riding if you want to try them out.
