I always said a good full day of riding should consist of around 500 miles. My best run ever was from Galveston Texas to Cornelia Ga. Thats close to 900 miles and I rode about 15-16 hours straight. That was a long time ago. Did it on my CX500. I ran out of gas somewhere in Lousianna and pushed it for 4 to 5 miles. *forgot to put reserve back down to on* Did that run sometime in early 90s.
