In defense of the Dupont stuff... I have yet to try it so I have no personal use experience. It does come highly recommended though.
One of the really cool properties of the Dupont lube: it is resistant to solvents other than the solvent(s) it contains. Basically, it resists being removed without a healthy scrubbing, but will literally drip away if you spray some new lube on it.
