While brushing up my de-mining skills, I came across this interesting article on how to fix or repair scratches with a heat gun. Has anyone ever tried this or have any suggestions?

The DC/NOVA area is a complete disaster when it comes to road repair and I'm constantly getting hit by stuff...big stuff. Tear offs only go so far. I have chunks missing out of my Arai Q2 that would give you chills.
