Someone with "full coverage" who is 50 years old and has liability limits of $300,000 with $250 deductible, might pay $200/year. If the 25 year old opted for the $300,000 with $250 deductible, it might cost him/her $500 or more per year! YMMV
+1. One of the few who understands the futility of most of these posts re: insurance. Talking about what you pay is worthless w/o details of liability, etc.
These posts with no details make as much sense as the following:
" How much should I pay for a motorcycle?"
" I got mine for $4,000"
" Damn. I just paid $7,000 for mine."
" I just got one for $1,000"
" Wow.Great deal!"
Also, call a number of companies to get premium quotes. When I first insured my Ninja, using the same information and same policy limits I got quotes ranging from $350/yr to over $2,000/yr! I'm not getting into the details of my policies since the point is, different companies will have very different rates for your individual situation.
