I'm pretty new to drinking since I actually waited for my 21st last July. I got to own and ride my ninja at 19 before my first beer at 21.

Tried beer, still disgusting no matter how much I drank... (been told a thousand times it is an acquired taste)

NO.
Tried rum, ok, but still didn't taste right to me.
So far my favorite is vodka, specifically by Pinnacle. Goes down pretty smooth straight and leaves this tingling sensation in my throat and mouth.

Also, mixed drinks with vodka are good, but I can never seem to mix them right and I torture myself sipping them... so straight it is.
