Possibly Historic Falcon 9/Dragon Launch Today

GO FOR LAUNCH. Officials have approved plans to launch the Falcon 9 rocket tomorrow morning. The launch window opens at 9 a.m. EST and closes at 12:22 p.m. EST (1400-1722 GMT)

The launch will be webcast live from http://www.spacex.com/webcast.php beginning 45 min prior to launch.

It will also be webcast live from http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html starting at 3:30am PST, as well on the NASA tv channel on cable/satellite.

Live updates will be streaming from Twitter (http://twitter.com/SpaceXer), Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/SpaceX), and SpaceFlightNow (http://www.spaceflightnow.com/falcon9/002/status.html)

If the launch is anything like last time, the SpaceX feed was choppy and cutting out, so the NASA tv might be a little better. Its also possible that some of the major networks will be broadcasting the launch live on the morning news programs but I'm not sure. Stay tuned and hopefully see SpaceX make history!
