The fitment charts were updated to say that but the old ones require a shim for perfect alignment. For example, JT Sprockets makes a new part but you can't seem to order it because most dealers only show the old part in their computer and their fitment lists are wrongly updated. It's considered "close enough," but it will cause a slight chain misalignment which can wear the chains and sprockets faster.
