You know, that is a great suggestion also. I could use them on the commute to work under my slacks without looking like a snowboarder with overpants or needing to change when I get to work. I like these:
Icon Field Armor, and they are only $65. I think that b/c no hip or tailbone protection, or overall abrasion resistance, full pants still looking more attractive, but this is worth considering.
