Needed. It literally
makes the entire setup. Stopping power is sooo good.
Also, regarding the "why?":
I have a GSXR front end and it's f'n dope. It's a whole new game, chasing down liter bikes through turns and braking zones. I've spent just under $3K (net) on my bike as it is now. While, yes, I would love to have a 550 v-twin converted GP bike, this bike does the trick for now. :P
