My dealer stamps the receipt of a tire purchase with a caution for 100 miles type notification on the bill. Don't remember them doing that on the paperwork for the bike purchases, but they do warn you to go easy on them for 100 miles (a bit overly cautious). Some guy a couple years back bought an R6 and tossed it in the first corner after leaving the showroom.
