The higher the number of the jet, the bigger the hole on the walls of the tube?

Does the number represent anything? Like the dimension of the hole?

What are the numbers of the stock pilot and main jets?

I'd go up or down in number from stock if I put on an aftermarket air filter (pods/k&n)?

The same thing can be accomplished with washers, tho will much less accuracy?
