I moved the break line a few degrees, and messed with the cables some. It's just the last bit of turn each way, that's the problem.
To the left, if I limit the turning to the 'locked' position, I'd be fine. I'm going to look into bonding a washer to the turn stop, or tapping in a screw, the way Eric did.
