I only had a tape measure to get distances so it was off a little bit. My plan is to get the bracket made and then a recess machined into it where I can attach the smaller piece (possibly made from aluminum) and I can then slide my Motorola Droid Car Dock into it.
I'm not sure why those last two pictures are so big. I resized them in Photobucket and replaced the originals.
