In 1974 I was in Virgin Islands. Saw a local carry a rolled up carpet on his kness, the full width of the traffic lane. How, you may ask did he balance it ? By sitting his 3 year old daughter onn top of the carpet, which rested on his thighs. He was on a honda 50 step thru. I was so impressed..I still remember the sight.
