Is there some magic genie that totals bikes? A vehicle only gets 'totaled' if you involve insurance and the the insurance company feels that the cost of fixinh it would approach or exceed the value of the vehicle itself. Thus, they pay you a version of what they feel is the fair market value and they take the wreck from you. If you are handling damages between you and the other party, you could have $10,000 in damages to your Ninja 250 and it wont be 'totalled.'

Yeah, if I was him, Id tell you to go pound sound when it comes to the 636.
