Go track ride a bit. You will find that any and all street riding is lame after you learn how to ride at speed on the track.
Of the group that I trackride with there are 2 250's and 2 enduros and a supermoto as street bikes. NONE of us feel a 600 is a good street bike. There is no need for 120 horse on the street.
You want to go fast on the street?? See ya in the hospital if you survive.
