I think it is a illusion due to the angle the picture was taken. If you look closely you can see that more of the left fairing is showing than is the right. This means the picture was not taken straight on and I believe as the bike is rotated, with the front of the bike moving to the right just enough so the right fairing is showing just as much as the left, the red line I drew in will come around to the left a bit to align it perfectly in the center of the tire. The mirrors are another good source. See how most of the left mirror is showing and little of the right one is. Hope this makes sense.
