Just know that if you do lower it, your suspension will feel different and your ground clearance will be lessened for more aggressive, twisty riding.

I owned a Ninja 650 for a little over a year and loved the thing, and even though I adapted to being tip-toed (ie: learned to one-foot my stops, etc), I was never quite as comfortable at low-speed maneuvers as I am on my Little Ninj. It is certainly doable, but get very comfortable and familiar with your 250 before upgrading.
