I'll probably be getting my Ninja on Friday ( YAY!
) but I don't have any security equipment to keep it safe outside.
So far I'm thinking of getting one of those clamps to go around the disk brake. Apparently you can get alarmed ones that set off when moved.
I'm also thinking of getting a long chain with padlock so I can chain it to a post/tree. I've been told sometimes people turn up in vans and lift the whole bike -- locks and all -- into the back of their van and drive off.
I'll put a cover over it too so it's less conspicuous.
Have you guys got any suggestions?
Have you learnt any security practices through painful experience?
Can you recommend any brands?
