This reminds me that it is now very easy to put people on the ignore list. Simply click on their name on the left and the ignore list is an option. I've done this a while back for the poster who classlessly called another member a bitch, and my experiences with ninjette have been better since.
It is also a reminder that there is no need to respond to these type of uncivil posts. Quoting them and keeping the debate going only feeds the troll. (And reveals the ignored posts to those of us who have decided to enjoy their time here through use of the ignore list.)
Carrie, hope you don't judge the group by the actions of one. We appreciate your presence and really do try to keep a very friendly vibe here. Off topic is a great place to talk about silly things like hair color, and I hope you aren't dissuaded from continuing to contribute.
