I think I told this story here before but when I first brought my Ninja home I stopped off at Subway to get something to eat. When I came out to get back on and head home, it wouldn't start.
I was freaking out because I thought it was broken already and I just got it. After about 5 minutes, I took my phone to call the dealer when I saw that the kill switch was set to 'kill'... I facepalmed and took off.
As for using kill switch, my belief is that even if using it daily SOMEHOW causes it to not work when I need it to, I still have my key/kickstand to use and kill the engine. I'm not the least bit worried...
