That is the next step right away once the first batch goes out. It will be more accurate than the stock CDI. All the hardware is on board, just have to finish the program. =)
Early adopters can send the gauge back later for the update too.
From what I gather, all I need to do is wrap a wire around the outside of a plug wire and read the pulses to get the rpm. Then set the potentiometer to fire at the rpm we select.
Very doable once I understand the programming concept of that function in the chip.

OK everyone who wants the digit separate from the PCB let me know.
Who has a piece of ribbon cable we can use? Two of them already have the digits soldered in place.
Do you guys want the digit separate unsoldered or do you want to send me the cable and I'll solder it for you?
