This is mainly when i ride my Shadow VT1100c. I wear a Cortech tour jacket armored or I wear a Wilson leather motorcycle jacket with with an Icon stryker vest under and a set of elbow pads. No shoulder protection though.
Even when I wear my patch vest I wear elbow pads and long shirt with my stryker vest.
Along with he Cortech jacket is the caliber pants. Normally when cold. I added two pics show the gear.

As I was going to say I almost always wear Leather race gear. But even when I do not I wear protection you can stay cool and look good at the same time. Off highway or on highway.
